What is FLL?

FLL, standing for FIRST LEGO League is one of the 3 robotics programs under FIRST.

FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to children from 4th - 8th grade, through fun, exciting hands-on learning.

FIRST LEGO League participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.

In FIRST LEGO League, students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, building confidence, growing their knowledge and developing habits of learning.

FIRST LEGO League’s three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Why join the FLL Alliance - Bellevue?

Our Mission is to help aspiring FLL teams, mentors and kids, be successful and have fun together! Prepare students to be successful in FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition, the program we are under), give them an environment where they can learn.

What our program offers:

FLLA Bellevue Facebook Group: This Facebook group is a community of FLL mentors and teachers, where everyone can easily to share ideas and overcome challenges, very helpful for those who have little to experience with STEM or FIRST.

We will also provide additional resources and live trainings for mentors, so they can learn how to apply it to their own FLL teams. Examples of teachings/resources: Sample programming code, Lessons for kids, Registration walk throughs, Reminders for suggested deadlines.

FLL Tables: Within FLL, the competition field is on a large table(4 X 8 ft), which you have to make and usually takes up a lot of space when you're not using it. To eliminate this struggle, we will be offering a making, renting and delivering service of these tables.
