• PNW District Glacier Peak Event - District Engineering Inspiration Award

  • The Engineering Inspiration Award celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school or organization, and community. Inspiring others to respect science and technology requires passion, knowledge, and commitment. We recognize these qualities through this award.

  • Here is what the judges had to say: "This team spreads stem to their community through FLL camps, curriculum, and financial support. They actively encourage girls and non-binary students in stem both on their team and beyond. They AMPED UP their efforts by taking FIRST to a government level, testifying in front of the Washington sate legislature to pass one first bill in the nation sponsoring stem education. Olympia knows them from bill 5617, but think again, for we know them as Team 2412. 
    Qualifying to compete for the Engineering Inspiration Award at the District Championship is: Team number 2412."

• PNW District Sammamish Event - District FIRST Impact Award

  • The FIRST Impact Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams, a team that emulates and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST.
    The FIRST  Impact Award is presented to the team judged to have the most significant and measurable impact of its partnerships among its participants and build season. The winner is able to demonstrate progress towards FIRST's mission of transforming our culture.
    The recipient team is invited to the District Championship where and competes for the FIRST Impact Award against winners from other qualifying events, complete with their robot. 

  • Here is what the judges had to say: "This team impressed the judges with their sustained creation and support of FLL and FRC teams.
    Their well READ members create and distribute documentation and run workshops to share their knowledge with other teams.
    Their expansive outreach spans the globe.
    They lobby congress to create legislation that benefits the TOTEal FIRST community.
    They run free summer camps to provide STEM opportunities to students facing economic hardship.
    Their presentation left he judges AMPED UP.

• Pacific Northwest FIRST District Championship - Regional Engineering Inspiration Award

  • The Engineering Inspiration Award celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school or organization, and community. Inspiring others to respect science and technology requires passion, knowledge and commitment, and we recognize these qualities through this award. The winner of this award gets their 2024 Championship Registration fee sponsored by NASA.

• Curie Division Houston Worlds Championship - Creativity Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation

  • The Creativity Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation celebrates creativity that enhances strategy of play and was intentionally designed and not discovered. 

  • Here is what the judges had to say: "This team could come in 4 ways but they are leaving one way. This team is carrying the competition. Just don't mess with Toucan, he will be toting you around.
    Way to go Team 2412!"
