Evan is the lead mentor for Team 2412 - The Robototes. During his time on team 2412, Evan served as the team captain his Junior year (2013) and started a new team, Team 4559 - FIRST DRaFT, his senior year (2014). Evan leveraged his relationships with team sponsors to get a summer internship at Intellectual Ventures where he continued to work for 6 years. After graduating from the team, Evan attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott campus where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in robotic systems. While at university Evan managed the university's 3D printing lab, and developed a lab management system that supported the college of engineering. After graduating, Evan worked as an adjunct professor teaching engineering 101, and as a staff engineer for a prosthetics company. In 2018 Evan began working for TerraPower, an Intellectual Ventures spin-off. At TerraPower Evan works as a senior test engineer. Evan has been recognized for his safety consciousness and other contributions to the company.
